A graduate student is having the following problem:

After attempting to install add-ins for SolidWorks Premium and SolidWorks Simulation Premium, the add-ins do not appear as valid selections in the add-ins toolbar in SolidWorks.  That is to say, I don't see any options to add a thermal/mechanical/etc. simulation to my 3D model. As far as I can tell, SolidWorks is not registering the inclusion of the additional premium simulation modules; I believe that this problem may be being caused by registry settings or app data leftover from previous installations.

Additionally, I have been unable to get SolidWorks to communicate modeling data with COMSOL Multiphysics through COMSOL's LiveLink to SolidWorks feature. To my knowledge, the LiveLink feature is implemented through an automatically detected and installed SolidWorks add-in. The non-functionality of this COMSOL LiveLink feature emphasizes--in my mind--that there is a problem with add-in implementation in our SolidWorks implementation.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
