We use many scripts created using various excel files to generate 2D geometry. We open them in AutoCAD or Draftsite and then simply cut & paste them into a sketch.
The cut & paste no longer works, so I'm looking for possible solutions.

Like I said, it used to work just fine.
Run script in DS, 2D geometry appears.
Window select all geometry, then Ctrl-C
In SW in sketch mode, click on origin and Crtl-V
Nothing is imported/pasted.
I'm stumped
DS Version V1R5.2 x64
SW 2013 SP5.0

First of all thank you for your confirmation that the cut & paste works.
Second, I just now loaded DraftSight on my test computer that has SW2015 SP5.0 and everything works again as it should.
For now, we'll continue using the longer method of running the script, saving the file as a DXF and then importing the DXF into a SolidWorks model.
We'll be updating later this month or next.

As an experiment, I selected all entities in a DS file and pressed Ctrl+C to copy them.
Then in SW, I started a sketch on the Top plane and pressed Ctrl+V.
It chugged a bit, but the 2D entities came in fine.
So, I'm wondering why "cut & paste no longer works" for you?
What steps are you performing?
