Resently I don't see the spline handle anymore if I start sketching a B-spline. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
Try right clicking on the spline and hit show spline handles.
I don't have that option.
I have the same problem . My show spline handles icon is gray. I can't select it and see the spline handles.
...you guys don't see these options?
There is no "show spline handles" option on my menu.
I opened the spline tool, and the "show spline handles" icon is gray, so I can't select it.
hmm,,.. you need to select the spline first and the handles should appear.. and, for them to be on w/o selecting,.. select the spline again and the grayed out option should appear in your menu.. then turn it on... or, RMB and select to show in the popup.
Thank you so much, this fixed my problem.
Thanks, I spent an hour with tech support and they said that I needed to reload Solidworks...
I recently upgraded from 14 to 16 so how did the box get unchecked?
Thanks a lot! That's Work!!!
I greatly appreciate it. I had this same problem.
Thank you very much!
Yesterday I still had the tangency and curvature handles and today they where gone.
I have been trying to modify splines for 2 days without handles.
glad I found this again, not sure why mine gets unchecked, either
Justin had the answer. System Options/Sketch/Enable spline tangency and handles. Now why SWx when out of their way to code that or why they think that is useful. IDK.
On my (newly installed from scratch 2018) the System Options/Sketch/Enable spline tangency and handles box was checked, and the "show spline handles" was activated. Still no handles. Only when i clicked "Make perpendicular" did they show up. This is a glitch that needs addressing.
Just found this thread and it helped me! Thanks guys
