I have a part with an appearance applied to it (chain link steel appearance) and with the part set to be partially transparent. I have adjusted the mapping scale/size of the appearance so that it looks like normal chain link fence.
It displays properly in the part file, and in its parent assembly, however in drawings the appearance displays in the wrong scale and as opaque instead of transparent.
A few days ago it was displaying properly in the drawing, but I reopened it today and now I am having this problem. By the way, I have had a similar problem before with Solidworks 2015. I am now having this problem with Solidworks 2016.
I have attached screenshots. Any ideas on how to fix this so that the appearances display correctly in drawings?
Never mind, I figured it out. It had to do with Large Assembly Mode. The feature automatically turned on in the drawing since my assembly was large. I went into the settings and turned off Large Assembly Mode. The drawings then displayed correctly.
