edit sketch hides duplicated part made from the same sketch

Hi all!

I have one simple part made from extruded boss/base feature and a simple sketch. I have another part that is duplicated from the first one. I want to edit the sketch of the original part while still observing the duplicated part since I need to make some kind of symmetry so I need to view both parts but when I navigate to the "edit sketch" of the first original part within assembly the second part becomes hidden and I can only see one original part alone on the screen (other parts that are not duplicated from that original part are shown as well). At the same time after editing I want the changes to be reflected on the duplicated part so I don't want to break the links between these two parts, I just need to be able to view both of them while editing the sketch of the original part.

Adjust this setting - if you get the proper results, you also need to save your Assembly Template.

I think hes in a part file. He should make an assembly and drag the part in twice and possibly the transparency.

If other features of the Part are children of the sketch being edited then I don't know of any way to keep them visible when editing the Part.

Can you please explain a little more about your workflow? What do you mean by "I have another part that is duplicated from the first one? How was it duplicated?
