I am inserting a balloon on a pipe to show the spool reference but it gives me a star instead of the spool name. the below pictures illustrate. does anybody know a solution ?

Thanks Peter, when you have many spools, it still doesn't work with me, it continues to show stars instead of its spool reference, I had to edit it manually through a text ! even if I tried to move the pointer to another part, it is the same !. I think it is like a bug !
I know that it is about 8 months now. I am just curious if the issue has been resolved.

Is working okay for me in 2017 SP3
Still broken as of 2019. I feel like this should be the least of our worries but somehow has gotten worse. Sometimes you can change the property to Text and back then it works, sometimes there's just no getting it to pull the spool refernence. Does anyone know what that link is if I were to type in the property in the text box? like the "SWbompartno" type link.

If you haven't figured it out yet then
just move the location of where it's linked to
even just a little and SW wakes up and shows you what it should.
