So my prints were fine in Solidworks 2015, I open any of my old prints in 2016 and all dimensions are orange. Any idea why? Newb questions... lol
It's hard to say without seeing the drawing. I'd suggest you start with checking the settings for Line Color in the Line Format toolbar. Make sure the box for Default is checked. Also make sure that the Color Display Mode button isn't depressed. Next check your Layer settings, both active for the dimensions and at Tools > Options > Document Properties.
Other than Glenn suggested and without the drawing.
Dynamic highlight is orange by default, if you hover over a dimension it gets highlighted. Hard to imagine this case though . Have you tried rebuild ? Dangling dimensions are brown by default. Did you alter the colors in options>system options>colors ? How is it set up there with dynamic highlight and Dimensions, Dangling ?
These are dimensions that have changed since you last opened the drawing. It was new for 2012 What's New in SOLIDWORKS - Highlighting Changed Dimensions
The color is in the location Ingvar Magnusson mentions, the option is called drawing, changed dimensions.
I think the system option to use the changed dimensions was off by default (see link to what's new document).
Jeremy - First thing to do is check your color settings - hopefully they aren't dangling, if they are it'll mean re-dimension all the orange dimensions. These need to be constrained or they won't update with any changes..
At least they aren't black - The guy before me had all his dangling dimensions black the same as a fully defined sketch, that's a big problem just waiting to happen...
Found what it was. Thanks for all the help.

Me, for one.
lol - Those things tend to catch me by surprise - years ago there was one release/upgrade that certain files the drawings had to be tweeked and that's where I was....
Yep. It's bitten me a time or two also.
