Why? Why does it do that?

What the dilly-O is goin' on here? I have a Design Table open, and when I save my Solidworks file with the table open, it closes the DT. My DT settings are "Block model edit" and no other checkbox options selected.

Ok, so I switched the DT setting to "Allow model edit", and it stays open when I save it. Why does it do that? Why can't it stay open either way? Can anyone with enough technical expertise in SWX chime in here?

Thanks!
