So I recently had to get a new SSD from my old hybrid disk drive as it was failing.  In doing so I had to change my os from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1.  Solidworks 2015 x64 worked perfectly on my old setup, but now only Composer and eDrawings open while the actual Solidworks problem will not.  I've tried a number of suggestions including updating my graphics drivers and uninstalling and reinstalling Solidworks.  I'm not entirely sure where to go from here.  I am using a student edition of the program, but again it ran perfectly on my old setup.
