Can I make/use a template for a part-in-assembly? I like to use them every time again in different assemblies, so that I not have to draw them again.
Just go to Tools...Options...Default Templates and make sure that 'Prompt user to select document template' is selected. From then on SW will prompt you to select a template when you 'Insert...Component...New Part'.
that's an intriguing question. What do you mean by part-in-assembly?
Are you talking about fastener type parts? You can create a library of your parts for easy access when creating assemblies. 2014 SOLIDWORKS Help - Design Library
Are you using virtual parts in your assembly? You can save these as real parts by right clicking on them in the feature tree.
Something else? Please give some more specific details.
I like to make a hydraulic hose in an assembly trough an sweep. I try it to: 'Insert' --> 'Component' --> 'New Part' then I have to draw the 2 sketches for the sweep and to make the sweep. Is it possible to use a standard template from a sweep, so that I not have to draw the sweep completely? Because I like to draw a lot of different hoses.
I hope You understand now.
One thing you could do would be to save your hose profile sketches as .sldlfp files (Library Feature Part). Then you could create the hoses with the Structural Member function from the Weldments toolbar. You'd still need the 3d sketch for the path, but that would eliminate the need to create the profile sketch each time. It also has the benefit of automatically generating cut list properties, such as Length and Description, which can be very helpful. I use this feature frequently to model bent rebar and cables, and it works very well. Maybe that doesn't directly answer your question, but hopefully it will help.
thank You. this work.
I've not used this myself, but I think routing might be along the lines of what you're after. It may have a cost depending on what licence you have.

I'm also looking for routing, but it cost a lot.
