Do you mean saving a profile sketch to be used for a Sweep? If yes, then you can. That's essentially what the Structural Member function on the Weldments toolbar does. It copies a sketch from a .sldlfp file to use for the profile for a Sweep. The path sketch is usually a straight line when modeling structural steel, of course, but the feature works just as well with curves. I use it to model cables and bent rebar.
