Appearently theres a difference on what shortcuts you can assign to keyboard key depending on wether a part file or assembly file is open. Move controller to pointer is appearently only visible when you are in a part-file but applies to assemblies as well.
Can anyone confirm this?
I was having the exact same problem.....
Since SW2016 picked up customizations from my 2015 install, the "D" key was already assigned to "Dimensions". So, I deleted that shortcut, closed the dialog box, and then re-opened it. A search for "Move Controls to Pointer" then proved fruitful. Re-assigned that to an un-used key, and then re-applied my "D" key to Dimensions.....now all is good!
And....Move Controls to Pointer" is available in Parts, Assemblies and Drawings
Now I have the exact same problem with filter edges. Normally it's assigned to the "E" key but I remapped the "E" key to annother fuction, meaning that Filter Edges is now gone. Removing the new E shortcut does not bring back Filter Edges. It appearce to be gone for good.
What do I do?
