I use SW 2015 student edition, everything is well when i draw, but when i want to save my works, SW tells me he encounters a problem and he crash.. is there anything i can do? I tryed toi desinstall and install back but samething..
..ok.. that maybe the problem.. (do a search on windows 8 compatibility mode for 2015).. that is, change the compatibility property for Windows 8... and see attached image.. (let us know if the works or not?)
Check our file templates and make sure they are correct. You can also create new templates and use them.
can you tell me more about creating templates, i don't enderstand, thank you
You may have already tried this but what about doing a 'save as' and giving your work a slightly different name? Also, is this happening for parts, assemblies or drawings? If its for assemblies &/or drawings, do the parts save ok?
I tried to save as, save all, and just save itself and nothing work, i can't even give a name to my works the pragram crash before
hmm,.. what Windows version are you running 2015 on,.. 7, 8 or 10?
Try running SolidWorks in Windows 7 Compatibility mode -
Versions before 2015 SP5 (which is not yet released) are not compatible with Windows 10.
It worked!! Thank you a lot ! I thought it would be a lot difficult than just modify the compatibility xD
