Is it possible to use the IF-function in a design table?
i have tried, but i can't figure out how to get it to work.
Klaus - In addition to the correct formatting of the IF statement, you may need to check the cell's formatting. If it is set to "text" the formula will not work. You will need to set the formatting to "general".
Hope this helps.
Yes it should work fine. How are you using it? Can you attach the file where it is not working for you.
I want to add this function: (Cell D3)=IF(B1>=0,5;IF(B1<=1,3;2,5))
The correct statement should be
(Cell D3)=IF(B1>=0, 5, IF(B1<=1,3, 2.5))
Still dosen't work
Sorry it should be B3 and not B1.
Also these two conditions will never met as B3 will always be >=0
Get rid of your semicolons! Commas only.
i have to use semicolons instead of regular commas. commas are used for placing the digits in numbers in my excel.
Don't know if it is because my version of Excel is danish?
