Delete and copy assembly exploded views

    Michael Caulton

I'm struggling to find any reliant information on how to work with exploded views. The only good info I could find was from 2007 and didn't cover what I wanted. Explode View API?

I have an assembly with several configurations, some with exploded views, some without. I would like to copy one of the exploded views, then delete all exploded views from all configurations, then apply the copied exploded view to all configurations.

Is this possible? The functions available within an AssemblyDoc do not look to allow what I need.

Does someone have suggestions on this topic? I also need to access exploded view "object": I need to create a new configuration, copy the exploded view from previous configuration, past it into the new configuration, then delete the exploded view from the original configuration ...

this can be done manually using "copy and paste" ... is it possible to do it programmatically??
