offset problem

hi guys

 

no matter how i try just not able to offset the outer surface 1 inch outwards

 

appreciate if u kind souls could enlighten me on how to do it

Correct Answer

Shuna,.. well,.. the offset is folding into itself... it won't work.... there are workarounds, such as,.. pre-trimming away those areas and cleaning up after.. see attached workaround..
