Not sure it's just me or anyone here has seen this - please see the attached image
Do you have any idea what causes this interface?
Did you mean makes it "work" or actually makes it "worse"? If it makes it worse, try a Ctrl+F5 which is a force refresh in most web browsers. This may force it to download images it may think are already downloaded but are not. If that does not work, you can try clearing the browser cache and then navigating back to the help. I just want to try to uncover whether there is something going wrong on the server side (which I doubt since I can't reproduce this issue, so it is likely on the browser side).
I assume this is a screenshot of the webhelp at help.solidworks.com in a regular browser or through the webhelp browser window. I've seen this happen before when there is some interruption in the internet performance. Just like any web page, these are images that are downloaded from the internet, so internet performance/connectivity can play a role in the images downloading properly and it is standard browser behavior to use a built in X icon for missing images. If you hit F5 to refresh, is it corrected? Does it happen regularly?
Thank you, Jim
it just happened recently and hitting F5 makes it worse
The internet explorer has behaved weirdly on my computer for the last few days and I understand it's nothing to do with SW
Just wondering if anyone has seen it
Thanks again, Jim
now Ctrl + F5 actually makes it WORK
I've had this happen as well, but instead of delving into it, I've just opted to use local help.
I know this isn't much of a remedy.
Agree !!! this is not an issue with SW but internet explorer interface
I thought it'd be helpful for those who are wondering to see these signs
