Just got a conformation that the release date for SP 5.0 has been pushed back a little to include a couple of additional fixes related to software stability. It's coming soon
@ James....Not sure why your having issues. Ive been running SW2015 & 2016 on windows 10 flawlessly. In fact its way more stable than windows 7 by far.
I've been having slight issues with SW startup and load times when opening files with the 2015 SP5 EV.
I cannot upgrade to 2016 just yet as our partners are still running 2015 and files are not backwards compatible (this is another discussion altogether).
Yes we now know it is delayed. But may be Solidworks would be little more serious towards its customers and put up a release date on their website for Solidworks 2015 SP5?
Wouldn't it be a nice gesture from Solidworks if they chimed in on this post and let us know whats going on....Its called customer relations. We all know they read these forums so Solidworks...Hello??? Is there life out there. The people have spoken.
We put 2015 sp5 on hold due to some stability issues reported by users on the forums. My apologies for not communicating this more widely. The new schedule is to release 2015 sp5 next week.
Should be any day now.
In general at the latest it's a week after the month that gets mentioned in the schedule.
Unless of course someone noticed a show stopping bug in the EV then it can be later
