We have created our own hardware in a Design Library folder
and have assigned properties to each part, like Description,
(vendor) part number, vendor, cage code, material, mass... some
even have multiple configurations.
My question is, how do we classify these parts as fasteners?
I would like to show a section view of an assembly on a drawing and be able to "exclude fasteners".
We do have toolbox add-in but find it useless for drawing, it's a good tool to create parts but we need all the other properties to show on a BOM.
Any ideas?

From the online help;
To designate any component as a fastener, open the component and click File, Properties. In the dialog box on the Custom tab, select IsFastener in Property Name, and type 1 for Value / Text Expression.
Search for 'isfastener' in the online help.
