I have some equations that we're using to populate some upper/lower limit dimensions in a drawing. I need it to go out to 6 decimal places. Some of them get rounded to 5, one of them gets rounded to 1.
Thanks for any help,
Craig
Are your Document settings at 5 places also?
Set to 6 in document settings. I even tried adding the trailing zeroes to the equations to see if that changed it.....nope.
I would check every decimal input including all the dimension units and also the document units (which is what I think you have changed)
Everything is set to 6. No dice.
Bummer
For trailing zeros check this box
Which should take care of the 2 or 3 decimal places or even the others....
Can't think of anything else, went through everything I can think of.
Change the units to 8 places under the Document/Units tab, then change back to 6 places.
8 --> 6
Deleted equations, created again
Still no change in the rounding.
VAR time ?
Yeah it's in their queue. Just trying to gleam any info from the users as well.
Thanks for trying to get it right. It should be a simple thing, but once again no rhyme or reason to what it's doing.
You're welcome - I needed to go through those options for a re-fresher, lol
