I have the 4 closed contours drawn on the drive curve were I need them. How do I select more than one contour to make my sweep.I believe during the selection process at some point you even get a prompt that says you can have more than one contour.

I think what you want is a loft rather than a sweep.
Also, if that part has symmetry, I recommend modelling half and mirroring it.

With the loft function its quite easy
it will result in this:
But! it is not in 1time, you have to loft it from one sketch to another, choose your sketch on the top plane as 'guide curve'
when you make 1 segment the sketches you used will dissappear, you can show them again by opening the loft you made.
so you can make it al the way round
To make it round choose Start/End constraints and choose 2 times normal to profile
