To calculate the thermal stress, you don't have to do a thermal study. You can do it in a static study by using a thermal load.
There are two ways to set up a thermal load:
- Just select temperature in the loads menu, and select the body to subject to the load from the fly-out tree

How do you define the temperature limits.. In real life, the entire assembly is subjected to -40C to +60C.
Do we need to apply the temperature limits to the body or can it be defined to the ambient.
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
