Does anyone know if it is possible to install eDrawings 2015 and 2016 on the same machine?
Not that I want to run both but I'm reluctant to uninstall 2015 (awful as it is) until I know if 2016 is any better.
Thanks for any help.
I am currently running SW 2012 sp5, SW 2015 sp4, and SW 2016 sp0 on the same machine with no issues.Using a Dell Optoplex 7010, Windows 7. I feel the same as you re: 2015 and 2016. That is why I still use 2012 sp5 as I feel it is the best version I've seen for my particular work
Yes, you can. You just need to keep the two installs separated, especially things like toolbox. I would set up a folder on your C:\ drive in which to install 2016 and its components.
Yes you can install edrawings of various versions on same machine. They should install to their respective folder in common files but if not then make sure to install them to separate folder.
Thanks for all the responses. I'll give it a go.
I Installed both as separate installs.
Keep away from 2016 task scheduler.
When updating documents it kept opening 2015 and so not updating to 2016!
