Hello, I'm new to this so I might be unclear
In my class I work in millimeters, and everything works just fine, but when I'm using SW in my laptop, using the same units resulting me in an extremely small sketch that I can't even see.. and I'm using the exact same units!
p.s. I tried to go to the units options and set it to MMGS beforehand.
Any idea why is this happening?
For example when I draw a rectangle and I modify one of its sides and give it size, I have to give it a few thousands of millimeters in order to make it look normal, while in my class I only give about 100-200 millimeters and it looks normal as well, and if I gave it a few thousands like I do on my laptop it would look way too big..
(By the way I didn't know about the F key, thanks a lot!)
SW 2015 autosizes to a relatively sized viewing area when you change the first dimension. Shouldn't this autosize for him?

I asked my teacher and he had no idea as well, he said I should just try to restart Solidworks and retry, and it worked. (should've thought about it in the first place..)

I'm not sure why your sketch is coming in small initially. It might have something to do with the way your template was saved. I'd suggest zooming in so that your first sketch is about the right size, then delete everything and re-saving your Part template. I'm not sure that will work, but it's worth a shot. In the meantime I assume you know you can zoom in and center your model / sketch with the F key?
