Hi everyone,

Haven't really worked with sheet metal so I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to convert this imported part to sheet metal. I'm doing Insert>sheet Metal>Convert to sheet metal.

I then click on the face with the slot and the hole on it as the fixed entity. I then click on connect all bends then hit the check mark for OK.

It then gives me an error that says "The fixed face is inappropriate. Please choose a face which is either the top or bottom face of the sheet metal."

I've tried different faces but I can't seem to get it to work.

I've attached the files below. They are basically the same, except one has a piece cut off.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
