I've used SW to design molds for several years, but am just now starting to use the mold tools. I have found the following issues, and would appreciate it if someone could suggest what I'm doing wrong. (I spent at least an hour with our reseller tech support yesterday, and the problems are still unresolved.)

1. I'm using a 3d model of the molded part with Scale added for shrink, but the cavities and cores don't reflect that shrink. (see picture). In other words, they are at the dimensions of the finished part.

2. If I make changes to the 3d model used to create the mold, the changes don't update in the mold, and SW often crashes.

3. There doesn't seem to be a way to replace the original 3d model with a different model, and I guess that makes sense. Have others found this to be the case?
