I'm creating a 3d weldment frame. For some reason, when I try to edit or create a dimension, I'm getting this bomb symbol. When I hover over it, it says "Create Global Variable". Did I accidently change a setting or something?
The usually culprit for this is you created a global variable on a dimension and placed it. Then you deleted it but SolidWorks keeps the variable in the Equations Manager Box. The next time you place a dimension that is similar it will auto insert that missing variable.
Well, now it's working fine.. Not sure what I did...
I can´t see the yellow letter in the modify box on the image ? What was it ?
I believe it was the new dimension number I was trying to put in... It would highlight yellow every time I tried to enter it.
I believe what you did was more then just a number. E.g. I put in 3´
"3" and the "´" I get the same.
Ah... Maybe so.
