I wanna model an ellipsoid shaped part but result is sth different. the file is attached.
I prefer creating a sphere and scaling it. Create a sphere with a diameter of 1 then scale it in all three directions by the dimensions you want the ellipsoid to be. You get a solid result in two moves, with your dimensional controls in one feature. The sections of the shape will be more exactly elliptical.
Make a sketch with one line and one half ellipse. Use this to make a Revolved Base.
Next use Scale and Non uniform to dimension the third axis.

If you are wanting it as surfaces you could also do a Boundary Surface and then thicken to turn into a solid
Using a Loft or Boundary function will give better more editable results. Don't try to do it all in one feature for something like this, do in in 1/4 or 1/2 of the end result.

I've used fill in surface , but for the dimension that I want , solidworks couldn't create surface.
