Hi,
using the helix feature is a bit confusing and in my opinion not logical.
I am able to choose the direction where the helix has to go
and I am able to choose if I want the helix going right way or left way (clockwise or counterclockwise).
Now I want only clockwise helix (for a screw e.g.) but the direction has changed,
so I set the function "return direction" (sorry, don't know the correct English name of feature).
Clockwise was still marked but the helix came out mirrored, means the screw has now
left way direction.
So if you change the direction to "return direction" but still want a clockwise helix you need to change
to counterclockwise ??!?
That is absolutely not logical in my opinion.
What do you think about this?
Thank you very much and kind regards,
kreisi

Yes, you are right, it's lame. The handedness of the helix should not change when you change direction. And I'd rather they use the terms "left hand" and "right hand" helix. But there it is.
