My Hole wizard doesn't work. There comes up an explanation that all of the database is not there. "Complete fucunality is not there." Do i have to uninstall my program then reinstall it?
It sounds like it did work at one time, or is this a new install? Check in the System Options > Hole Wizard/Toolbox and see what folder it is set to. The folder it is set to should have a structure as seen in my pic.
I am under system options and went to Hole Wizard/Toolbox. A warning box came up and said: "Error: Could not find the Standards database 'C:\SOLIDWORKS Data\lang\english\swbrowser. sldedb'." And yes this is a new download.
Are you able to get to the area that looks like my screenshot or is it giving you the warning and you are not able to continue? If you are are able to get there click on the button to the right of the path and see if you can find C:\Solidworks Data\ Mine says Solidworks Data(5) since I have multiple versions. If you are unable to find it search for swbrowser.sldedb with windows explorer and see what that turns up.
If I remember correctly the hole wizard installs with all SW packages. Standard, Professional, and Premium. Toolbox with Pro and Prem.
If you cannot find the file I suspect that it did not install for some reason. If so go to windows start > Computer > Uninstall or change a program > right click on SolidWorks 2016 (or whatever) and choose "change". Then the installation wizard will activate. I would try Modify since it will bring you to the third picture below. Check to see the location it is installing Toolbox/Hole Wizard. (for future ref). Then continue with install.
Edit: I added my search on my system to give you an idea.
