When ever I open Drawing assembly file I get like this
I suspect that your file has Read-only selected in the file properties. I can duplicate your error opening a drawing file if I select read only. It may be you do not have write privileges to the folder that the file is in but I doubt that this is the case. Select (right click) the file in Windows Explorer>Properties>unselect Read-only.
Initially I thought the same, but I have privilege to all the folders and directories. Also those files are not read only files.
The crazy thing is as soon as I finish my Assembly drawing and saved, I can't open that file once if it is closed.
But this is not happening in Part drawing files. (Insane)
I agree - Insane. Good luck with this
Is the file stored on a network location? If so try copying it to your local hard drive and see if it will open.
Also, do you use a different template/sheet format for assembly drawings vs part drawings? If so, try adding an assembly view to a part drawing template and see if it opens.
