Cannot open htm files

I'm trying to open a eDrawings file (htm) but when I click on the link to open the file (Using Internet Explorer) the view open on IE and I cannot see the file, before the file used to open on the external software and not on the web browser. How I can get it to open on the software and not on the browser?
