but it's cap is not straight and planar.
how that is possible?
If you could upload the part (use advance editor) I can show you.
Another option is to offset the outer surfaces to "0" , cap it and try to form solid by knitting them together.
..do a check of the surface and see what you have open... fill surface and add merge and make solid..

but beside this model I have 5 others too. I assembled them and in order to simulate in ABAQUS, I save as*. STP file. The problem is when I import the model in ABAQUS, many separated surfaces are being imported.
How can I save it that just solid bodies be imported?
