Hello, I have made an assembly from a mailbox. This mailbox should be part of a unit. For example a unit with 6 boxes width and 8 boxes height. But we make different units all day, is there a way to make a parametric assembly? It would be great if it is possible to enter 6 and 8 in MS Excel and SW compose the whole unit for me. Is this possible? Thank you in advance

Of course! i was thinking about hard solutions with tables, but this is quite simple i'll try it.

Tables are great. With in reason. But Configursations are quicker and simpler. We had an electrical Penetration gland which had to have 6-9 different x and y possibilities so we put it to the test at work. One of us with a table. and mee with configs. Think,, just maybe, the other guy has less hair and stil working on it. (On another note. If I understand you correctly and the subassembly do not changes only the pattern, you could setup a "design table" for the main assembly that controls the pattern of the unit.
