    Could Not Find Server

      Whenever I try connecting to the ePDM sever from a client computer, I receive the error "Could Not Find Server Desktop-A15411I". I know the client computer at least makes a connection to the server computer since when I try logging in with an incorrect user/password it tells me that I have an incorrect user/password. I have tried disabling the firewall on both computers with no luck (as well as adding the correct ports).

          I was able to get past my previous error by changing two registry keys on the client (DBF is the vault name).


          HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolidWorks\Applications\PDMWorks Enterprise\Databases\DBF

          HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SolidWorks\Applications\PDMWorks Enterprise\Databases\DBF


          I changed the DbServer key from Desktop-A15411I to Desktop-A15411I\MSSQLSERVER


          but now I get a new error


          "Could not log in to the database "DBF" on server "Desktop-A15411I|MSSQLSERVER". Cause: Could not access the item in the database."
