Surfacing Help / SOS.2

Hello, I am struggling to complete a surface model, am wondering if someone can provide direction or help troubleshoot.  Designing a check Feeler block to customer supplied data, I have most of the surfaces created, knitted, and mostly trimmed to hopefully end up with a solid model from the final knit.    There are two surface that appear to clearly intersect each other.  One will trim the other, but not vice-versa - not sure where to go from here.

Attached is a zip of the assembly for reference, the parts in question is 3062-002.., the surfaces that I am unable to manipulate as desired are surface-trim 6 and surface-trim 12.  Also below is a sketch of the design intent for reference.

Also any advice on the general approach to achieve the design intent are welcome from this surfacing novice.  Although I feel with every project that my knowledge improves, the tree is sooo long, it seems there should be an easier way to get there.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions

Scott
