Hi All,
Our Vault somehow got some files checked in with lowercase file extensions. This looks weird when browsing through the Vault looking for a specific file. See the attached picture..
Does anyone know how to change the extension to uppercase letters? I tried changing it and check the file back into the Vault, without any changes..
Thanks,
Flemming

i've noticed that solidworks explorer (rename) is also a contributor to the inconsistencies.
i've seen this for years now and it is annoying even when viewing in windows explorer.
one option, assuming you're using the number property, in pdmw turn OFF the label for "document name" and turn ON the label for "number".
Hi Folks,
I hadn't noticed this until you posted this. Idon't have an immediate answer.
Best Regards,
Joy

I deny.
RE:"logged into windows" You mean when I Turn On my computer? Caps On/Off is controlled in the BIOS settings. Mine is Caps Off.
I started SolidWorks with the Caps Off, saved a file, and the file extension was all Caps.
I even tried renaming the extentions in the vault through windows explorer. No luck...
