SolidWorks Electrical formulas reference

Hello folks, I’m new SWE user. And I want to custom the type
of numbering of my elements in schematic. So I need to add my own formula for
components, wire numbering and so on. I use SolidWorks El. 2014 but the problem
is I do not know the complete syntaxes of formulas. I try to look in help, searched
all forum and didn’t find complete manual for formulas. In this forum I also
find some same question but no one complete answer. I understand simple formulas
- for example “VAL”, but it’s good to have complete reference. So my question
is if there is any complete reference for SWE 2014 formulas? Thanks is advance!

It's kinda a mix of a couple of syntax languages but not..

Best thing to do is describe what you are looking for and an example of how you want the text and someone may be able to help or at least get you started...

It's also going to be a little difficult as 2015 version added/improved the formula functions in SWE in comparison to 2014.. 2016 will improve it dramatically.

Thanks for replay. I found some examples, I leaned some commands like "val" and some conditional staintmants like "if" but that not enought.
If there are some document for syntax of that psefdo language. Intresting if SolidWorks don't have reference for that is sound weard !

  Yes it would be nice, we have done some documentation but with the changes it is going to have to be redone. Below you will find two links one to a document for basic attributes and one for symbols. I will also try to attach a pdf for equipotential and wire variables I started work on.

  Look to SW Electrical 2016. The formula manager has been augmented to show all of the available variables for a given formula such as for equipotential or wires, etc. The developers have also added the available functions including, but not limited to: IF, STR, CONCAT, VAL, etc. The last feature includes a means of testing the formula while in the formula manager. You can provide same data and see what the result will be. This will certainly speed up the process of creating your formulas.

Thanks for help Johnathen! I think this docs are really
helpful. I hope soon to have SWE 2016, this
is a great idea to have more sophisticated formula editor. In 2014 is easy to look at some examples if
you want to make formulas.
