Check your Options>Document Properties>Dimensions>Linear (or other style).
Post back with screen captures and example *.slddrw files to illustrate your design intent.
Thnx for the reaction
As mather says correct but before that you go to Options>Document Properties>Dimensions>Linear , define a layer with optional name (for example : dimension ) and in that layer define the line thickness .
Select the dimension you want to change the line style of, and in the Property manager select the Leaders tab. Uncheck Use Document display and select the style and thickness you want. You can modify both dimension and extension lines. At the bottom of the thickness list is the option for Custom Size.
If you want a line style that is not on the list, you can make your own. Look in Options/Document Properties/Line Style, and click on New. Play around with the Line length and spacing values to get what you want. I haven't made a custom style for a while but I recall having to try a few times to get what I wanted. It's a little used option, as far as I can tell, and Help info is a little thin.
