When I add .200" to 14.75" length, it didn't add up. It stayed as 14.75". It should have been 14.95".
Are there settings for this?
Have you tried just entering "14.75+.2" and leaving off the "in" and trailing zeros?
I did that and it still didn't work.
Can you post the file?
Did you try preceding with = sign?
Are you running on Windows 10 OS?
I didn't use the = sign.
I'm running Windows 10
and did you try this version
just "+.2" and confirm
Yes. Still didn't work
I think there was a thread
about a bug on this a couple
of days ago/week maybe?
edit: here's the link to the other discussion-
but it appears to be dormant?
I suspect it's the Windows10 that's causing the problem.
Is there a fix if the issue is Windows 10?
Ernie Lorenzo: Is there a fix if the issue is Windows 10?
I don't know, other than going back to a previous operating system that's compatible with SW2015 or waiting for SW2016. There have been a number of Discussions here regarding problems with SW and Windows10, but I'm afraid I haven't been following them very closely. You might do a search here (https://forum.solidworks.com/search.jspa?q=Windows10) and see if you can find more information.
