in drawing when i crop a view, the cropped view disappears when re-opened...what can i do to fix this
Is the cropped view still listed in the tree of drawing views?
If it is, right-click it to see if "Hide" or "Show" is listed on the menu.
If it says "Show", click "Show" to display the view.
If "Remove crop" is available, you can select that to bring back the original view and crop again with a new sketch.
Are you saying the entire view disappears? Or the cropping goes away?
Yes, this was the problem, thanks
I am having the same problem with a view. The view is the only one in the drawing as I have recreated the problem in multiple drawings. It is an iso view that is being cropped. I try the hide show trick and it works for about 5 seconds then the view disappears again. It is the strangest thing.
Any ideas on this?
I also have issues with the cropped view feature, sometimes part of my cropped view disappears when I zoom out, but when I zoom in, it becomes vissible again.
Other issue with cropped view: it sometimes happens that a cropped view is placed outside my drawing template when I open a drawing, locking view positions doesn't work.
