How do I Reset "In the future..." Messages in photoworks 360 if I'm not running net render client interface?
Oh, I just realized...
I think you're talking about the messages that pop up via the PV interface (the pv360.exe process)... Not the SW UI messages that have their reset flag in options.
Delete this file to reset out of the box settings (including all messages) for PV360
Where #YOURUSERNAME# is obviously your username on the machine.
And PHTOTOVEIW***.CFG is either PHOTOVIEW760.CFG or 860.CFG, etc. These are version specific so technically you can delete all the PHOTOVIEW*.CFG files to simply reset out-of-box settings for all your PhotoViews...
I'm guessing no one knows...
I've tried SolidWorks support line and they were clueless so I guess it's time to re-install and hope that solves the problem.
is it not in system options>Messages/errors/warning like all other dismissed error messages?
Nope, that was the first place I tried. It appears dismissed phototworks messages are stored somewhere else but I can't find them.I've tried removing the registry and even a fresh install of solidworks but it still has the same problem.
Are you talking about PhotoWorks? Or PhotoView 360?
Sorry, PhotoView 360
So that's a no then...
Seems Solidworks Support is clueless as well.Tried lots of things and nothing works
You would think if you can disable a message that easily you would be able to enable it also!!!
That's solved it.
Many Thanks Ron
