How to subtract a surface from another surface in SOLID WORKS.
You can use Trim surfaces tool.
Thank you Deepak for your advice but I have to subtract a non intersecting surface as shown in the attached Fig. That is I have to subtract the airfoil from the circular surface. At first I have drawn the airfoil, then from Insert> Surface> Planer made it a surface. After going to sketch mode I have drawn the circle and follow the same procedure to make it a surface. After that I want to subtract the airfoil from the surface.
Don't make a surface from your airfoil sketch. Use it as the cutting element for the circle.
