Hi all,

I need to add some laser markings to a part at its higher level assembly.

i can't add it to the part itself, as the marking doesn't occur at the part level drawing.

can i add an assembly decal/text item? can i add an assembly cut to the part?

(not having great success with either).

i suppose i COULD add a decal/cut in the part and config/display control it. i'd rather not do that.

Oh SolidWorks Oracle, grace me with a solution.
