I want to create an exploded view that show component around the center of assembly (like a real explosion ). in sw we can only move component around the special axis and this is not useful .
there is not any way?
Never heard of a special axis.
With SW's exploded view, you can explode components in along any axis, in positive and negative directions. So I am having trouble understanding that you cannot do what you need.
Maybe I do not understand the question completely. Do you have a picture of the end result you need (and can upload it)?
If I remember correctly, a radial explode function was a somewhat new addition. Though it might not be exactly what you seek, which is more like a sphere type explode from the center of the assembly.
as u see in the pic. in the radial step u only can select 2 part and then is craeted the common axis of 2 part . i want to have an exploded view that be sphere type explode from the center of the assembly of several part . in the other hand my mean is all component go far from a special point (may be in the center , like a real explosion) . please help me
Had forgotten about Radial Explode. I do not see any options for a Sphere type Explode. I am guessing you are going to have to figure out a way to do it manually with multiple axis you create?
it is easy when we have little number of component but when we have several component it is impossible . is there any macro?
How many parts or files are in your assembly? Maybe create multiple axis or sketch lines to use as mate references in another configuration which should be less work than a normal explode view dragging along each axis. The new configuration suppresses all mates (except for parallel to plane or such type mates), you add a coincident mate from the part origin or some reference to the new axis or sketch line, add two parallel mates to keep the part pointed the correct way, then a distance mate from some plane.
I HAVE ASSEMBLY WHIT OVER 30 COMPONENT . THE NUMBER OF COMPONENT DONOT IMPORTANT FOR ME . I SEARCH A WAY FOR AUTOMATIC Sphere type Explode.
isnt there any way in SW?
There isn't a way to do this in one step or feature. This could be a good suggestion or improvement to pass along to your software supplier. For now, you'll need to do it the hard way (multiple radial explodes).
No, but SolidWorks Composer will do it. If you have to explode this way might be worth investing but not only for that. SolidWorks Composer will make greater images and animations.
but i dont have composer . it seems that there is not an easy way for my purpose . i suggest that this ability is inserted in the new version of sw
In SW 2015 you can do the radial explode. There is no automatic way to do it another way.
