Hi please help me
Can I make thermal analysis in solidworks?
there is a heat exchange, in heat exchange have phase change material.
input= heat water or air or another fluid
output= cold water etc...
Heat will store in heat exchange, Can I see tempereture gradien?
I will compare experimental with programme?
please only yes or no or how
my english is bad excuse me
Can you help me? I am at turkey
thank you for answer my question,
Phase change material(PCM) is CaCl2.6H2O.
first, PCM is solid and then input heat fluid will melt the PCM, in this wise PCM will store the heat.
pcm features
melting temperature
29-34 °C
density solid
1800 kg /m3
density fluid
1560 kg /m3
hidden heat
190 kj /kg
solid
fluid
Cp s
Cp f
are those features to introduce the solidworks material? because CPs and CPf are not in solidworks
and to be phase change absolutely
again thank you
Phase change can not be taken into account with Flow Simulation. Anyways, the most efficient way is to contact your turkish reseller to discuss what is possible before investing more time.
Yes, you need to have a license of SOLDIWORKS Flow Simulation to do it.
