Hello everyone. I'm trying to draw the attached bevel gears. Normally I would do a loft cut from a solid, but currently having difficulty. Any tips as to how I could attack drawing this gear. I only have solidworks standard.
Jose, you may be able to find a model here as well if it helps ... At a minimum you could download one and run through the design process ...

I tried finding them on McMaster-Carr as well but all the models I tried are either an "Imported Part" or "Solid Bodies" which are of no help for reverse engineering.

Attach your attempt file, then only it is evident where you have problem. Because it is simple.
Look at this file and see how they modeled it.

You could also "Try" to model it yourself
Will you be manufacturing those gears, or will you be purchasing "off-the-shelf"?
