The assembly document is missing parts which is causing the drawing document to miss parts as well. I don't have those parts, is there a way to get the full document?
Matt, first go to File-->Find References, this will show you exactly what is missing and it's last known location which may give you a clue where to look or who to ask.
You could also close the drawing and reopen it in quick view mode so it doesn't load all the files. That would give you a picture, but that's about it.
Need a little more info to fully help.
Don't save the files. Close the files.
Open the drawing with eDrawing.
How do I do quick view?
When you are in open dialogue box ,select the drawing file , look at bottom left. You will see a drop down.
Ravi shows you how. Just remember that Quickview is like accessing the bitmap image save inside the file. You won't be able to edit it, just view it. Similar to a Preview before opening.
Yes , This is equivalent to opening the drawing in Edrawings which accesses same info as this mode.
I meant "This is equivalent to opening the drawing in EDrawing." I misstyped in my original comment.
Try opening the drawing in "QUICK VIEW".
This is equivalent to opening the drawing in Drawing.
If you find enough info , recreate and point assembly to it/them.
See if My Drawing or Assembly can't find dependent files. will help.
