Ive tried cranking up the resolution on my displays and moving/removing the windows task bar but still no luck.
How Do I Find a Lost Dialog Box?
The window is most likely opening off screen. This can be due to a recent change in screen resolution or switching from dual to single monitors.
The size and position of View Orientation dialog is controlled by the following registry key (Click the Start Menu, then type Regedit):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 20xx\User Interface\Dialogs\uiNamedViewDlg_c
The last four comma separated values in that string control the position. Either correct the values or rename the uiNamedViewDlg_c key so that SOLIDWORKS can no longer find it. Next time SOLIDWORKS starts, the View Orientation dialog should be in the default position.
Here are the values for my window...
A backup of the registry should be taken before making any changes, as mistakes can severely impact SOLIDWORKS and system stability. Ask your IT for help if you are not sure how to change registry values.
It's not there when you select the space bar?
Thank you all...after trying most other things I decided to hook up to my old monitors and there it was. Apparently, there was a difference in my previous screen configuration and I was able to locate it. Thank you for the quick responses.
