Is there a way to align a view vertical according to the sheet?
The only way I know - is to draw a line and then do a angled dimension and the line, then rotate the view that amount.. _ did you try to orient the model before you brought it into the drawing, like pick a face or a plane and go Normal To and hit the spacebar and pick the correct alignment..
As in everything with SW, the results are pretty random.
There are several ways to accomplish that. See How can I Get a Non-Standard Drawing View?
I think I have to explain it a bit better, but thanks for the replies.
99.9% of all my models are already centered around the origin, but it annoys me that I can't center my part on the center of my sheet when I make a drawing of my models.
I have been looking for a way to vertical align the view according to the sheet - but haven't found any way to do so yet.
